From a ranching background in Zimbabwe and spent lots of time in the bush. Had a Granddad that would disappear prospecting every now and then, apparently had a few claims but I don't think remembered where they were. Been looking on from a distance, always been interested in rocks and things and have wondered how many gems I may have picked up while walking in the bush or down dry river beds and admired them but never really did anything about it. Now I would like to learn more about prospecting or fossicking and maybe get a detector and a pan and go try it for myself. I'd love to get out back in the bush exploring again.
