I will be getting the 6"for the gold areas,not that i have used the eq there yet,but the 6'should help in the really hot ground,similar to what the gold racer's does.hopefully it will be better.

My GR is almost unusable on the beaches in wet sand,others have said they are fine,what settings and coil have people been using.

has anyone in Australia tested the gold model on the beach.

will be interesting comparing them.you would think that having two high freq vlf's would be overkill and about the same price.Will be interesting how they go on a wet sand beach my GR screams.do they have the same modes as the lower freq's.

Just realised i hadn't updated this with the solution,There was a wire of the switch very hard to see but a quick dab with a soldering iron and problem fixed.Now to try and sort what appears to be corrosion on the main board.

Has any of the testers tested the prospecting mode in a gold bearing area,Just interested if it handles it with the standard size coil it comes with or will you need to swap to the smaller coil.I know my makro gold racer i have to use the smaller coil in really hot areas or of course drop the...
