Had a quick detect today - sometimes Ill hit a target and it will initially read as 32 or so, then when in pinpoint mode the ID can jump around rapidly. Going from 32, to 44, and -8 sometimes too. Im assuming this would just be junk?

Instead of all metal do you use the 1 setting?

Thanks for the welcome! Through my job I basically get to travel around all of South Australia so do have the opportunity of chucking the detector in the back of the car and trying new places. I also go to the NT about 8-10 times a year so could be a few opportunities to have a look around there.
