I was doing some digging in Reedy creek today and found this stone (I think it's a stone). I was wondering if any of you could help tell me what it is? Hoping I haven't just picked a lump of glass up.

I just did the lip test and it was cold, so I'll settle with Topaz I think iluntill proven otherwise!

It was just at Reedy Creek, and yes think I'm a bit out of my depth doing that at the minute!

I went panning yesterday and I found a smallish round stone which is almost completely clear. I'll post a photo once I figure out how!

I'm new to this but was just wondering if reedy creek is the best spot around beechworth? Or if there are others nearby
