Hi Vstrom, Hope you are well mate. Just be careful of a modded 4500. Take it for a test outing if possible, I had a go of one 2 years ago and it was quite noisy. My 4000 at the time was much quieter.

Nice report. We all could use some of MGs knowledge out there. I really struggle to try and read the ground. I usually park up the car, Set up the detector and start swinging, As time is usually limited I try and cover as much ground in the shortest possible time, I have to consciously slow...

We all see it out in the bush, bloody inconsiderate to all prospectors. I usually back fill their holes with my pick but usually wave my detector over the hole and discards pile first (just incase they missed their target)

I heard a rumour yesterday that Minelab are very close to releasing a wireless battery and amplifier setup solution for gpx detectors.
