I just put new hoses on both sides of my 1.5" pump.........bugger me I gave up trying to push the new suction hose over the camlocks and pressure hose over the other side camlocks......I gave in and took them into the irrigation place so they could do it with the right tools......

Yeah I just wonder how many limit their search to just the inside of the turn looking for water that slows to release its gold rather than the outside of the turn to find pieces that are "flung" to the outer sections.........next time out I think I will have a look and see if there is any places...

I wonder if it is possible the Centrifugal Force as water curves around a corner would be inclinded to throw larger heavier nuggets to the outside of a bend.....similar to the cyclonic action of a bagless vacuum or a precleaner on a truck or tractor, in times of very fast water movement......

I'm not really sure as I headed south from the crossing and it was on the straight section after you veer left......its a big humpy with lounge chairs and stuff you can see from the river if you are on the side furtherest from it......I dunno about distance.....a km maybe
