Hi , I have a 4500 and mainly detect in the GT. I would like to know what people think of the Nuggett finder and the Colitek elite mono and what size they would suggest. I have spoken to a few guys and I'm still not sure on what one to buy. My partner has a 2300 as is finding small nuggets...

Hi Guys, I am a newbie to detecting and need some advice on detecting surfaced areas. Should I be detecting on the bedrock or where there is a small amount of dirt or at the bottom in the gullys? Any advice would be great. TIA.

Can anyone please explain to me the difference between surfaced and sluiced areas as far as detecting goes. and how do you tell the difference.

Hi Guy's, Can anyone recommend where to purchase a detector from in Victoria. I think I would prefer to buy from a shop rather than online given the cost of around $4000. I'm not sure if I should I get a price for a harness and pick etc with the detector or buy separate. GP.

Can anyone give me some advice on using a SDC2300 around the Wedderburn area. I'm a newbie at prospecting and would love some advice from someone experienced. :)
