Im mighty impressed with the little adventurer sluice. Ran some material i but through the bunnings sluice and pulled out a nice little bit last night just testing the AM. Looking forward to going for a dig tomorrow.

ended up getting the adventurer for now. Ill order a grubstake in the next few weeks. I can see it now.

Hey guys, Ive been looking at getting an agus mackirk sluice. Im having a hard time deciding between an adventurer or a grubstake. Most of the creeks i pan are small and completely stop running over summer. Id love to have the option of running on a recirculating system in the garage too...

Hi Paul, Thanks for the quick responce. 300mm over a meter? Ive only been running at maybe 50mm drop. Will give that a crack and see what happens.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I build one of these bunnings sluices a few months ago and it works really well. But I had a question about what size pump I should be running and how much water over the mats. Im currently running a rule 500gph pump but I have a Hella 1750gph pump aswell...
