    Your other half?

Well we're a couple who both love prospecting, hubby more than me but then he likes to get up earlier than me. We go off in the van at least once a month, sometimes twice. I do the morning stint with a cuppa & book in bed while he's out looking for the yella & then comes back for brekky & then...

Quick check of the ATX against the GPX5000

I think this comparison is happening because sellers of the ATX are the ones saying it is as good as the 5000. This has obviously sparked lots of comment from GPX 5000 users. Only time & the quantity of nuggets found will tell

    Latest WA Nugget

Wow wouldn't it be nice to find one even half that size? We will be heading over that way next year, doing the big trek around Oz so I think we'll be spending quite a bit of time in WA. Just need to do the research first as to best spots that haven't been thrashed.

    1.2 Gram

That's great work Jesse & good size although even sub grammers are better than nought. Everyone's got to go through their fair share of collecting bullets & other rubbish though. That will pave the way for the nuggets to rise up & shine :)

    ground noise vs gold noise

Yep always go over the same hole even once you've fond the nugget - you just never know when you may hit a patch - We wish :/ I too get confused with the different noises & when I should be ground balancing. I don't get a chance to get out very often so I think hubby gets a bit frustrated...

Hi Kirkn, we spent last w/end at Amherst with another couple & the guys got 3 bits of gold each over the 2 days as well as lots of lead shots & shot cases. Hubby also got & little bit panning a nearby creek as well. It's a beautiful spot & we'll definitely be back there. It's also close to...

    Turbopan information and questions

We have just brought a "standard" pan & hubby has just started learning the process & finding gold with it. I have seen the turbo pans & would like to get one & learn with that one first, but hubby thinks it might be too hard for me to get the hang of & maybe I should start off with the...
