Has anyone ever explored the turquoise deposits around Narooma? I was having a look at a map yesterday and came across it. Supposedly poor quality according to mining reports.

I have only been out there once which was probably 6 months ago. Massive holes everywhere in the banks near the bridge.

Can anyone tell me what this is? To me it looks like copper in it metal form, at least in colour. It was all through a big chunk of very mineralised quartz.

I have a Patrol, small lift and mud terrain tyres. Plus recovery gear and compressor. Gets me anywhere we want to go and space for kit.
