Forgot to update this went last Sunday, Campground 3 still has larger deeper puddles close by and some small areas of flowing water (although I would assume thats all gone now with the weather we have had). Scored about a decent amount from panning for the day and there were some great people...

Update from 7 March, Water is flowing through at the moment. There were a ton of people out there for the Long Weekend and was getting hit pretty hard. Found some about 300-400 m upstream in some exposed bedrock areas up past the fallen Tree waterfall place. Parks were out and about checking...

I am currently working on making a wooden rocker box, mostly for fun but to test out in the field soon. Problem is most of what I am doing is from old pictures and from my head. Just wondering if anyone has some decent blueprints for a rocker box. Thanks

So I spent two hours crevicing this arvo. Cant believe how untouched some of that creek is. Didnt get a whole lot but man it was fun. I have well and truly bee bitten by the bug now.

Thanks Troutman. I didnt get out yesterday as i got crook, hoping for this wednesday, im only panning and crevicing, hoping for a machine for my 30th in July :D. Im looking at travelling as far as possible down the stream so hopefully no tin cans for me haha.

Thanks Rm, hoping to locate my grandfather's old minelab detector it's gone walk about. If not I'll be saving up. Looking at trying out Creswick and Slaty Creek for a bit of beginner fun with the pan. Just need to convince the wife to let me go. :D
