Im no expert on gold detecting but Id buy a used minelab xterra gold pack geat detector for coins and relics. You get 2 coils one for coins one for gold. You might want to find out what its like on gold though. Just my thoughts Sam

Who here had used the gold monster 1000 in mild ground how does it perform in australian ground? Anyone found gold with it yet or tested it on some bits of gold? Would love to see a youtube clip to see how it handles the ground and finds small gold.

Thanks nucopia, yeah I have been thinking about it I have read our gold is very small and being vlf it would be good for that just the ground mate im not sure what our ground is like for vlf. Im thinking that a secondhand gp might be better though
