    Depends on what you want to use, there is something better for gold, it's Detech 18 "Concentric Coil works in both modes, in Mono mode uses the whole large outer circle, has good sensitivity to fine gold.

    This is a Detech coil 18 "open design for the Minelab SD, GP, GPX series should be DD, there is also a small series, MONO. 18" open design "white colors" are produced only for Minelab SD, GP, GPX.

    Probably the coil is not Concentric but a DD. I watched the video and wondered why it could not work on Mono or DD.
