    What are some good fossicking places in penrith area?

    Anyone know any good fossicking places in penrith area? Im in marsden park and I'm looking for somewhere not too far away to go fossicking for crystals such as amethyst, saphire, opal, garnets etc with my aunty and uncle. Im new to fossicking so any pointers would be much appreciated!

    What are the most expensive minerals?

    Ajoite, papagoite, spessartine garnet and larimar are VERY expensive and rare!

    what stone is it? And what is it's value?

    The first one looks lik an agate of some sort or poor quality rhodonite and the others are all quartz.
