Does anybody have any issue or solution for tailings building up at the base of a river sluice. I get a build up at the end and keep pushing it away with my hand. If I dont do anything, it messes with the last couple of cells of the dream mat

There are other areas within a short drive of beechworth. Reedy creek has been the best so far for me. I use geovic and this forum for research. Youll find posts about the area in this forum if you type in the right keywords in the search area.

There are some spots where you could use a river sluice. I took mine with me but never used it.

I managed to find some time to go down there after the Easter break. First place I went, the previous campers left a smouldering campfire, rubbish and made a mess of the creek. Not sure if they were the ones prospecting, but I found some nice gold in some crevices they missed
