Found my 30 year old maps, gives me some targets to take a look at

Hands down one of my favorite places in Vic. Will have to check out that book! Have you had success detecting around there or just a lot of relics?

Has anybody had success detecting the greater Gaffney's Creek area? ie, Woods Point, Kevington, A1 Mine Settlement ect. For myself it's a lot closer and familiar than the GT. Picked myself up a GPX 4000 and keen to put in some swing time.

My budget max's out at about 2,500

Do you know how much he's chasing?

I'm on the lookout for a well looked after GM3500, I've seen a couple pop up that look like they have been used and abused. Doesn't have to be perfect, just not neglected. I'm located in Victoria.

One thing I have learned very quickly while looking for my first detector. There's a lot of fakes out there
