Ok i have an sdc 2300 and use earphones all the time yes they are a bit sweaty. I did a test run with some small gold targets and the clearest sound i got was with cheap $10 earphones from target ! Clearer than the minelab originals and my sons expensive Beats and my good Bose ones. Im assuming...

i have tried good quality noise cancelling earphones on my sdc2300 and they don't work as well as the $10 junk shop ones. i think they might cancel out some of the signal. A bit tinny but much clearer on the cheap headphones
