Hey Tathradj, I realise this thread is about gold but do you by any chance know the general area around Eden that produces Amythest? My research suggests the cliffs between Eden and Two Fold Bay but that is pretty broad. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I amnow 90% sure the trigger guard is from a lever action rifle, with the centre part being the pivot point of the lever

Please have a look at these finds from today in a creek at Nerrigundah. I think one is a rifle trigger guard. The one with screws might be a rifle strap buckle. And I have no idea what the hook like item is but is thick forged metal. Maybe something from a bullock wagon????? Guess away please...

I honestly have no idea, not super clear it's a bit cloudy if that helps, but can be seen through. Very angular, it has six edges and is pointed at both ends. From what I've found on 6 sided gems I'm calling it as quartz. Thanks for looking anyway
