sorry to restart an old post but i just had a look on the nsw forestry map and this site looks like it is out of there territory and on private land with a EL licence on it? can someone confirm if this is correct or am i looking at the wrong place
I found a great map going thru the treads last week but do you think i can find it again. It was like a google map where you could zoom to an area then click on a miners pick and see extra information. Can anyone point me it the right direction. Thanks in advance.

rain was pelting down on Saturday so we didn't stop on the way thru. just gives me another excuse to go up there again, fantastic country around there.

has anyone been down the southern end of durikai state forest? any luck and what method were you using? doesn't look like there are to many roads in there but wondering if there are a few more bush tracks than whats on the fossicking map.
its a great dam just a shame you cant camp there. we fished it for a couple of hours but the heat pushed us off early November last year before we caught anything. we left and went to hill end where i met a guy who took me out to try detecting. now im looking at buying one.
been looking thru a pile of posts about highbankers in qld and not interested in one of these but the river sluice looks interesting as long as i can find somewhere with water flow which is also not easy in qld. originally liked the walbanker as it catches sapphires and i love the new england area.
