Hi everyone, I have been given a very lucky 1hr in white Rock Quarry. While I'm here in SA. Does anyone know what to look out for when hunting the famous quartz crystals that come out of the ground there. Any info would be appreciated even if it's links to other sites.

G’day Retro, first I’ve heard of that quarry and I live here, so thanks for posting.
Here’s a link to maybe answer some questions...

A good pick and keen eye is all I can advise.
Good luck and let’s know how you go.
Cheers.

How did you get on mate? I live pretty close to Horsnell Gully and have done a few walks past that quarry.

If your wondering how to get in. You can get in through the horsnell gully conservation Park. When you enter the park there is a track on the right that winds up the top of the mountain and it'll take to a fire track that goes straight into the quarry.
