Hi All,

Started prospecting about a year ago and was wondering where people get their crevicing tools from.

I have searched ebay but haven't found much.

Any tips would be appreciated

Matt is tyger a sponsor on PA? Mackka
No Mackka, but this isn't a sponsors thread or include any other site sponsors either. They have supported the forum though (to be revealed for June FOM & COM competitions).

Just added options to the OP's question.

Also added Baz's direct shop link to post #7 here:

Others are more than welcome to update the thread with other choices or options also.

Tools like the "Baz Crack Scratcher" will last a life time and are well worth the price, a quality tool always is.

Wandering through Mitre 10 I saw one of these, and when I looked online I could not find it in any Mitre 10 search.
But ebay does list them for the same price as in store, when adding postage.

It is cheap and may do in a pinch, about 3mm wide and the steel blade is hardened.
Did not find it in Bunnings search either but they probably have it too.

I got a couple of those from Bunnings a few years ago and goes well in the cracks between the paths to get the weeds out, so it should do the same in the field. In the gardentools section near the secateurs.

Like I said earlier, either a tool for life, or a tool for giving it a shot.

I will pick up a cheap tool soon, and take a grinder to it to reshape a little, scratch a few cracks with it.
If I am doing lots of crack scratching and wear it or break the cheap tool, I will definitely go for a BAZ crack scratcher.
Just testing an interest I don't mind paying twice, if I only do it once.
