Interesting, what on earth made you look at this private property. There's only one way to find out, go and knock on the door. Let us know how you go.

Here you are Jamesgold.
There is an old mining lease over the creek.
Hope this helps.

Ive been up there, to that exact spot.
You are looking at two derelict water tanks, on a steep creekbank, and a farm behind a stock fence.

On the other side there is actually a mine, its completely flooded. They dug on a decline, right next to the creek, and had to pump constantly.
All there is to see there is a tin shed the size of a outhouse/toilet, and mud. I've also been up there when its dry, just mud. On the tank side there is some rubbish, old and new, a few hoses.

Apparently it was ok for panning and sluicing back in the day, ive tried a few times, failed.

I'll save you trying to find a copy. They failed. It flooded and it was a nice area to swim and picnic before the dams upstream and the loss of access in general.

More in car batteries, type metal in the day of ink printing - and dulux used it as white pigment in their paint. Coimadai mine operated during WW2.
