Hello Everyone

Hey Guys I am Very new to this Hobby I have just bought a Vanquish 540 Pro and look forward to learning how to use it. I have been watching you tube and learning and I have a question I am hoping I can be helped with. I understand that doing detecting on sports fields is frowned upon and I get why but would doing the area where people sit and watch be ok. And also are old show grounds ok to do some detecting on, particularly after they have had a night markets. Just asking so not to tread on any toes.

Welcome mate. As far as showgrounds, parks etc. goes, check the local Council Rules, give them a call and ask your questions. Best Wishes

I've heard that showgrounds after a night market are a very happy hunting-ground, as coins are just laying about on the surface in the grass. But you need to check for permission first and start work soon after closing time, as tomorrow may be too late and the early bird gets the :money:
