Thanks jamie.I won't be doing any prospecting where I shouldn't be.Ive done some research and found some other ground out that way to try.Jamie i believe im from the same area as you and would love to pm once I can in relation to some spots close to home.I have some knowledge about the local area and am hoping you may have some aswell.

I just wanted to give my 2 cents worth to the discussion.
When I got my last Miners Right (pre 10 years job) a small booklet was provided which listed the 100 or so Victorian rivers, streams, etc. where fossicking is verboten.

I do have a miners right but no booklet on exempt rivers.Miners right was purchased online which is also where you can find the list of exempt rivers,which mind you just keep adding to the list can't believe some places you could go to a few years back are now a no go.
