Coin collection record

Hey guys,

Im currently in the process of trying to create a spreadsheet to keep a record of my coin collection but Im unsure what information I should include about the coins for my record.

I have the basic stuff : country , coin description, year , quantity, mint. Is there any other information I should be adding ?

Any unusual identifiable markings? Location found date time. Obverse and reverse .

Percentage of metals they contain and coin weight/size....

I always find a 'Notes' column is handy in my spreadsheets, so I can record and recall later anything unusual/interesting that may later be forgotten. eg. 4 in one hole; found after flood, etc.

A 'Condition' column may also prove useful to highlight any potential treasures, if you are later thinking of getting them valued.
