Hello there !
I am far from a prospector , more a basic but am hoping to gain some new skills and knowledge in the near future.
I have spent many years picking up every interesting rock I have seen . From rivers to gravel pits and everywhere in between ... I have recently been explained to that a lot of what I have been thinking was quartz is in fact topaz and or/ saphires.
I have also had the major luck of finding a 17 gram gold nugget in ironstone and copper coating that I originally believed to be some sort of rusted object.
Hopefully now I am finally understanding what I'm looking at I will find some more goodies on more than just strange luck .
