Nice Pa... that Blitz reminds me of my time in Darwin in the 70s when I drove one converted into a cattle truck for rounding up scrub bulls. Not too refined with the crash gearbox and all, but could go anywhere... :power:

Sorry for highlighting, Adrian I'm interested in hearing more please start a thread about the Blitz and your experiences, photos will help :perfect:

Excellent work as usual Glenn :perfect: have you read the biography of Tom Cruise. A little repetitive at times nonetheless he was an inspiration and champion even in today's standard but most likely not recognised. Check out 90% of 4WD's or any vehicle heading for a bit of scrub and I'll back it in they've got Maxtracks strapped somewhere. Truth is Tom was the pioneering genius of them. Very inspirational and a fantastic insight into a world our grandparents and great grandparents experienced all the while unaware of how it would transpire into a money machine today.

No I havent read it, but I will, I noticed he had a Blitz as a mail truck when I was looking at images on google.

A work in progress...

Thanks GH for the plug digger template.
Plug digger and beach scoop.

Scoop has 20 and 25mm conduit for handle with 32mm collars, and three layers of the 90mm (one cut down length to go inside, normal and slip joiner) for strength plus an extra wrap around to provide extra support for the handle. Did ok in the wet sand so far but i understand it is no replacement for a good ss one.

All painted and hanging to dry... had half a can of Rustoleum titanium left from touching up the caravan chassis, so I saved $80 instead of going for the clear coat, which would have also looked nice. But seeing it only cost me a dozen or so angle grinder discs, I thought Id stay in front..
