G'day all,

I have a brand new SDC2300 and one of the things that I was concerned about was that it could fall over when put down on the ground.

I searched the forum and the internet for solutions but I didn't have enough time to order anything online before I was going out prospecting for the first time. So I decided to make something myself.
It is basically a 150mm spring clamp that I filed a square in the middle to fit the shaft on the detector. It was cheap, fairly light and easily removable.

On a recent trip the end of the clamp broke off. This wasn't really a problem as I just broke off the other side to match.
In fact it makes it easier to get the clamp on to the shaft of the detector as you don't have to open the clamp so far.
