Nice one Gda. On the finds as always. I like the little pendant with what look like amethysts and a darker stone in the middle. Looks like that cut has some good age to it.

Yeah this particular spot is a real Scrooge releasing its bounty... Gotta get it at the right moment... All of the finds were deep the beach has shifted a load of new sand making the finds scratchy.
The pendent is a hair clip.

Great work Art. I can't get into this treasure hunting thing with the Equinox. It would take me a month to end up with a stack like that because I get frustrated with the detector beeping a dozen signals per metre and throw it back in the bus.

That's why I water detect, unless I want a good goldie haul... Mind you the beaches here, dry sand are very clean... The influx of detectorists has increased so I'm told by Yulia who seems to see them every time she's out detecting. :Y:

Much of the same yesterday, wife and kiddies went to the beach park and I hit the water...
Beach has changed alot, had to walk and grid until I found a patch, thing was when I did find it the wife wanted to leave so I said, pick me up in 3 hours.
I didn't move from my patch for over an hour, waist to chest high water.
5 rings but no gold junker and 4 silver...
Also noticed detector holes in the spot I got the 1918 Penny and gold ring..

Got out the other night for a scouting session on the high tide, the easterly winds keep the surf flat and after 2 hrs of getting very few finds I found a good low spot for the next day's detect.
The finds were OK but I could only latch onto 1 junker ring.

The next day finds below.. The teaspoon had me fooled, the tarnishing made me think it was silver but alas it's another EPNS.

Today was overcast with a light sprinkling of rain.
First section of beach was a bust, only managed a stainless steel bracelet.
I saw a low spot further down the beach, about 30metres long and 8 metres wide, tell tale signs of another detectorist with 4 detector holes but no gridding... :D :)
I started to grid and I could see why whomever detected didn't continue... Lots of iron which would make the nox beep like crazy but in between the clunks you could hear the squeaks and those squeaks turned into a 22k gold ring, 3 silver rings and some coinage...
Thoroughly enjoyable dig and more than likely I'll hit the spot again as I could make out faint squeaks very very deep.

Got out last night for a few hours, 3 rings, 2x silver 1x unknown metal that had a silver tid.. Little gold pendent was a nice find, it has a Buddha beneath a Cross which seemed rather weird.
I did a total count of rings since September 2020 and was surprised with 104

King tides this week, the local beach is slowly opening up more ground.
Until next time happy detecting

3 latest digs under my belt saw a few rings and coinage.. The little abacus was a cool find. I don't know why they keep sanding up the beach, we've not had alot of weather to eat away at the shoreline. I'm thinking of doing a road trip to see how I fair next week.

The last coin haul was strange with the right side of the pier 5c 10c 20c 50c and the left side $1 $2, the 2 rings were from the left as well in chest deep water.
Until next time happy detecting
Cheers Gda :D

Nice hunting GDA. I would say someone has done a goldie hunt on the right side leaving the small denominations behind .

Nah mate it's the way that beach is most times... The coins drop out of the sand bars into the deeper spots, was just weird the goldies never dropped one side and the smaller coinage never dropped out the other side.
The gold rings are also hiding in the bars waiting to be released from their sandy prison. :Y:
