Few bits and pieces from the weekend, did plenty of miles looking for a new reef that has shed a bit of gold but ended up back at my old favourite specimen spot with nothing but a pocketful of shotgun pellets, a musket ball and sore legs!

Lotsa miles walked and they were both within 50m of the car on the way back! Sometimes I think I should only switch the detector on when I'm on the way back to the car

I know the feeling well.... and sometimes the good finds are straight up with hours spent afterwards looking that could have been better spent at home lol

Another couple of points scored by the nox 6" coil this morning in a well hammered spot. One was in the middle of a walk track and I must have stepped over it half a dozen times.

The shilling was a funny find, in a trailer load of landfill dumped in the bush.... I'll be staying out at our block this weekend, its getting pretty hard to find anything out that way but I've got a couple of spots to check out a bit further east if you want to come for an explore.
