I reckon it was an old cricket pitch at some stage
Don't know why they were loosing their belt buckles :(

Has been a while since we've seen some cricket buckles unearthed on the forum, looks like a great location from those examples. How old were the coppers? :D

It was a Holloways token 1858 and the penny was toasted. I think a George 3 - all my George 3's come out this way, perhaps a Vickie but a bit bigger.
