Will nuggets from Castlemaine lead to a mine from Kalamazoo?

Doubt that 3 nuggets will influence their decision ..... they're looking for underground potential a bit like Fosterville.

Haven't checked but original info seemed to suggest they had most of the area covered by an EL.

Will come to nothing if the so far undiscovered hidden veins are too expensive to mine .... they might find some but has to be worth their while to start a full scale operation.

There are 2 EL's that cover Castlemaine and within that area there are over 200 old listed mines, would 3 nuggets make that much difference to the outcome of any company start up. Maybe we shouldn't tell them of all the gold that has already be found.

You talk to a stockbroker? How strange. Almost nobody does that anymore, it's all done via software/apps.

Three "nuggets" would be neither here nor there to a public gold exploration company. Detectorologists would often find them on our licences and it was of no concern to us, although we would chat to them and it could rarely (but sometimes) indicate an area that warranted more of our exploration focus. But professional prospectors were (and are) finding far more impressive nuggets all the time, but only the giants made the newspapers.

Routine buy and sell is almost all done the way you say now. But stockbrokers are very much still in business. They extend into areas like wealth management and financial services, and are used where floating companies and getting investors together to do so. They may specialise in a particular area such as derivatives trading. In many cases they know far more than someone hunting advice on-line (they know the sharks and shonky companies and individuals etc and their past history and track record).

Amateur investors tend to assume that things like these nuggets or a drill intersection will send shares up or make a company (I made that mistake when starting out). Valuation of a company's properties, its cash reserves, and who it is talking to about an unrelated option or joint venture, or timing of dividend payments are more commonly what determines share price. For example, I would not have taken the slightest interest in Kalamazoo's nuggets and I am not overly fond of their ground holdings (which are totally unlike Fosterville), but that is my personal bias. Not what I look for.
