Well after 3 days of laying low because of a flu bug I finally got out for a swing.
Road tripped it to an old favourite and it didn't disappoint, trashy beach with lots of cuts, respectable amount of coins and a Gold Cross, hallmark is too small to see and my guess is either 10 or 14k.
Abraham came with me and together we walked over 12kms..

Until next time happy detecting

Good day out on the spendables, the gold cross is an interesting find - do you it was handmade by someone?

I'd say handmade, the top cross being gold soldered to bottom cross to give it that raised 3d effect with what looks like silver X.

Got out for a quick afternoon swing with the wife and 3 little ones, Abraham, Aaliyah and Angelica before coming home to cook a BBQ... Coin spill of $5.50 in the most unlikely spot on the beach and a few more coins to add to my tally. Last signal was a rattling tone and turned out to be a silver bracelet.
Stacy Pink a lady I've had the pleasure of knowing for the past 4 years sent me a gift for the ring recovery I did. 1 gram 999 silver bar and a prospectors shovel and pick pendant.

Heading out at Midnight for a water detect and to see if my old patch has some goodies for me.

Until next time happy detecting
Cheers Gda :D :Y:

The one thing I love alot is a low tide and a witching hour detect.
The weather was calm with a slight breeze to keep me cool whole I gridded the small section of beach where a channel opened up by one of my patches.
The deepest part was thigh high which was perfect for my first signal a 1951 Florin.
Next target was a Rams Head shilling and then small patches of coins all bunched together.
I got a couple of small silver pendant pieces and a lipstick with the residue of pink lippy inside after millions of years in the water. Lol
Very enjoyable morning with a few goodies to keep my addiction in check.

Mackka

Yeah Mackka they come out great from this patch, best conditioned pennies I've ever found in the water..
The Excavators are deepening the creek channel which means more sand will be moving over the coming week/s so there could be more rising up to the surface soon.
