After being out in the market for a while now, the Simplex+ now had an expanded range of coils available, both from Nokta/Makro, Detech, and more recently a full range from NEL coils being released this month.
First two coils from Nokta/Makro are the SP22 8.5" round coil and SP24 9.5"x5" elliptical coil, both should offer improved separation on junky/iron riddled ground and being lighter than the stock coil make for a more balanced detector.
A firm favourite of many detectorists is the ultra lightweight Detech 13" Ultimate coil which is now available for the Simplex It only weighs 40 grams more than the stock coil, I have the same coil for my G2 and it really is a coil you can swing all day without making your arm drop off.
Lastly is the full range of 10 coils from NEL, everything from a 5" through to a monster 15"x17" coil.
