Found a heap of this on the last family prospecting trip. It looks like little tubes in quartz or something but it has made a massive amount of little crystals. Does anyone know anything about this? What it is or how it was formed?

I think they call it botriodal or some such thing.
fgs don't quote me on it though lol. :D
Pretty sure thats the right term Silver but maybe spelt Botryoidal

I was thinking maybe botryoidal calcite?? Same sort of formation you get with stalagmites/stalactites with calcium carbonate being leached from the source rocks and precipitating out in crystal form.
