I am from Perth and was wondering if there are places/mines around WA (Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie?) that are publicly accessible for Opal fossicking? I am not looking for precious ones so any kind of Opal will work.
Would appreciate your feedback on this. Never done fossicking myself so not sure whether it's even even possible to find opals yourself?
