Yeah that was a nice find Doug , a few of our members on here have found a sov over the years since Ive been a member, and this is one I found just in case ya missed it , just to brag ,1898 widows head.

In all my time detecting I always wanted to find a gold Sov, never have, even if it was the lowest grade price. Hats off to all who have, it must be an awesome feeling to realise what it is when the dirts wiped off of it. :Y:
 
I always take stuff home and have a good look at it . Picked up a small thin ring , thought it was an el -cheepo silver ring . When I looked at it , at home , it was stamped platinum on the inside !
