Recently got into prospecting and I'm looking to learn the ropes to hopefully find some nice shiny stuff.
I'm in Darwin, N.T and would be happy to find a few specs here and there while wandering out and about. I've got a few bits and pieces such as a metal detector and pans but I haven't found any gold yet as I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for.
I've heard there's some decent specs and gold out near Tumbling Waters, but from what I've read most of them have been over-worked in recent years. Just wandering if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me an idea what to look for? Or any advice on getting a claim would be appreciated!
Otherwise if there's anyone who'd like to catch up in the Darwin region, let me know!
