Buzz, my advice would be to drive to your local tackle store and get the best info possible. They will also have the right jigs for the area and light sticks if needed.

yes their is depends if land or boat if boat look for weed beds around 3-5 mtr deep try all colors let it hit the bottom and bounce jig from land night is best off most piers or rocks glow jigs are good and try all speeds winding if you have a very bright led torch put it in the water tide coming in i find best
