Building a coil

hi all just wondering if any of us have had a go a making there own coil ? .

Edit, I tried with a Surf PI kit. it worked ok but nit technical minded enough in this area

good luck with that .. have an Oscope at hand and inductance meter and correct materials ..... have made a few ...
