Gday all havent been able to get out for awhile so I decided to crush some rocks I picked up randomly from a spot I have detected small nuggets and the odd specie from I have a tub full of them and crushed about 6up in my crusher I made then put about 10 tea spoons of the powder through my home made Miller fable and was surprised because there is actually little tiny bits of gold it took ages just to put the 10 teaspoons through so I think I will put it through my sluice first then the miller table cheers Muk.

Sounds expensive Im not that keen I only crush rocks when I have species or cant get out much Ive herd and read that rocks have gold in them but it is not detectable in some cases and if you find a few species in a area it is a good place to pick rocks from and thats what I have done all the best cheers Muk. Also put the rest of the powder through my sluice and will crush the rest in my crusher.

Yes, I reckon they are impressive, so long as as you have ground the material down to 1/8" minus for the mat material that is attached to the trays from original, some say to wet the material before running it as it processes it better, Ive tried both the dry material and tried using the material wet.

I think perhaps wet may be better, but I use some rinse aid in the water anyway to stop the flour gold from floating.

this is one lot in the pan after flushing the Gold Cube mats out
