Wahoo! My SDC is arriving in about 30mins!
Gunter picked it up for me in Sydney and arrives shortly.
Lucky they are water proof! Going to be a bit of rain. Bugga!

What can I say.....

VERY surprised buy compact box it even came, looking at it!

Unboxed it to see something folded up looking like the size of 2 old play stations 1 series!

UNBELIEVABLE!

With two bad shoulders, I managed two swap from left to right every five minutes with ease.

The aftermarket legs are a must!

Will buy the case bag with built in legs for sure!

I bought two extra battery packs.

But I did find one was not making contact and wouldn't start up!

Not that keen on the old spring contact!

Think the battery packs could of had a better connection arrangement.

Will have to shim the end of the battery with adhesive felt to make a descent contact.

But disappointed there.

But I just cranked it up to max, and soon self aware of its reactions and signals.

Yet to learn it's pin point position of the coil.

Next time with one of sub buggies...

Dont know if it helps mate but the sweet spot seems to be where the coil edge tapers off, when you pass the coil over the target, or target over the coil this is the area that gives the best response.

Often pushed it on its side too so the coil runs vertical to narrow the target down just running the edge over a shallow target.

Cheers, I did notice that. But unsure from lack experience.
Got a fair bit of wet dirt etc on the gurl.
Nice to know you can bath it within reason!
