Hey guys! New to the group. Im a new eager prospector. I have all the basic equipment, sluice, pans ect. Im from the Torquay area and would like to find out some spots in the western district of victoria. If anyone has any handy hints on where to try or where to go. Even any pointers Id love them!! Thanks guys!
 
Closest I know is probably Steiglitz, although there are various areas around Morrisons, Elaine, Meredith in the same area. Torquay the rocks are just too young - the closest places are well to the north.

I think the places I mentioned are a lot closer to Torquay! Otherwise north of Rokewood.
