Yes in two places, and further up the valley as well.

Can't remember the name of the hill in Sunbury - I seem to remember it is "Red" something and east of the creek, west of a major road. Also at places like Gisborne and Toollern Vale. I used to get good common opal along a creek bed in basalt at Wildwood when I was a kid.

Jacksons Ck, I think SE of town, on the ?Red Hill that rises up to its east, west of a major road (hill in-between). Beatties reef from memory, alluvial in creek.

You probably won`t get an answer. He hasn`t logged in since the 28 th of december 2016. That could mean one of 2 things. Either he gave up looking in sunbury or he found the big one and retired , but didn`t tell us.
