Picked up a 6 kg snapper on same Monday morning out from coffs. A red helicopter in the sky both mornings checking that boats don't have more than two people on board. According to the guy in the golf pro shop the chopper sent a boat with four people on board back to the coffs harbour jetty. We live in interesting times.

I love spotties, pretty late-season run? What's the water temp like up there? Been ages since I have got one, used to fish Grassy Head for them. I remember dad bagging out on them all 9kg before I could even get breakfast and coffee sorted one morning.
