I'm getting serious withdrawal symptoms with this lock down.

So as I indicated in another post, I'm giving the yard at home another work over with the Multi Kruzer.

Did a short 1/2 hour hunt in deep mode, over an area I had already worked over a few times in three tone.

The Kruzer is a hot detector, and deep mode is very sparky. There is plenty of rubbish around (house was built in 1880) and the yard has been built up over the years, in some places more than 30 cm. There is a layer of gravel down about 8" under much of the back yard, and a lot of it has charcoal mixed in. So it is a challenging environment.

I put on the KR18 (7") concentric coil, and worked over a very trashy area near the old barn.

Got a scratchy but repeatable signal with varying TID's and dug this nice little threepence at about 6".

Unfortunately, scratched it over the 3 with the digger.

I'm pretty happy with that, as the oldest coin I have found so far in the yard was a beat up 1918 halfpenny.
