Just saying hi, Ive been following for awhile and theres a great amount of info on here.

Im a new but very keen prospector, been out a few times with a mate around ballarat and am now completely hooked after getting a few bits of the yellow stuff.

Also I Am in the market for a secondhand gpx4500 if anyone has one they are looking to sell?

I hired an SDC a few weeks ago and wasnt that impressed.
The speaker facing away from you on the side was weird and hard to hear, it was also very heavy and hard to maneuver.

We also did a few tests where we buried a few small nuggets (.1 / .2 gm) and compared swing over with the 45.

SDC was slightly better on small species but not on small nuggets. The 45 with a 12 nugget finder was clearly the winnner.
