So did you get your gear off mate and let that detector swing in the breeze? :D

Lol no mate by the time they all left a light shower of rain came and the wind picked up..
The funniest thing was how they built rock walls and a trench, I was told by Tyler they do it to attract a mate like penguins do with pebbles. I will get a picture next time I am there. Hahaha :D

Beach coins on the right and park finds on the left, not alot happening at our local beach with the notices of pollution still up.. Revisited the 1850s park and there were signals everywhere but because of the mozzie swarms I decided to go back another day.

Been a while since I have posted probably because it's the normal spendables.
Got out yesterday with a young bloke to a washed out beach, have to get in quickly before dwelp and Vic roads get in and resurface the entire beach. Good day out and lots of finds, within the first 30minutes 18ct gold, sapphire and diamond ring and then beep after beep the finds kept coming. Tyler pulled in loads of silvers and a silver ring.

Well done GDA , nice washout ! And great ring pick up.

Cheers Danny, it's nice to get a good washout.

When the tides are low there's only one thing to do.. Got out last night but got to the beach late so missed a good 2 hours detecting time. Still managed a few good finds, pennies half pennies a florin, sixpence, petrol money and an 18ct gold ring with my initials in it, what are the chances of that happening.

More nice finds. And another ring a ding ding! The heart looks gold. Get the magnifying glass out - the stamp must be there somewhere.

That little indentation at the top has a marking in it but too small for the loupe. :Y:

Nice finds! Does that heart locket open? Is there anything in it? Could be marked inside.

It might have been bought by a digger in Egypt for his sweetheart back home. "Love, AJ" on it.

Looks like it's gone through a rough time! Great find though. :)

Cheers,
Megsy
