My friend lost his metal detector in the bush fires and now he's looking for a replacement.
He did have a GP 3500 which he claimed was 'personally tested' by Jack Lange ... the story was that apparently Jack had a bunch of 3500's in stock and took them out and tested them and declared that 'this one' was the best. I don't know how much truth there was to that yarn but he certainly found a lot of gold over the years with it. One time I saw him detect a 0.1 gram nugget with a 14" Mono coil on. The thing was so well used it was practically duct taped together, but he was a wizard with it.
Along with all his possessions he also lost his antique bottle and coin collection, and unfortunately everything was uninsured.
Anyhow if someone has something they're not using anymore and they're willing to part with it cheap it will certainly go to a good home.
To sweeten the deal I can probably throw in some gold/gold books/crystals for the right machine.
