Hey guys, hope everyones having a good new year.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a place to get a replacement for the lower plastic rod for my gold bug 2. I bought a replacement from the US but the coil connection and the insert holes dont match my gold bug.

Does anyone know where a universal plastic lower rod can be purchased?

Maybe try to contact one of the Fisher retail outlets to see if they can order one in for you - Losttreasures or Gold Diggers detectors in QLD come to mind, google search for stores elsewhere.

If you can wait a bit, I'm just about to get mine sent away after a friend drowned my unit.
If it is a write off, sort something out.
